Unburnable fuel: Either governments are not serious about climate change or fossil-fuel firms are overvalued

If the world is going to take the 2°C climate target seriously, governments and investors will need to dramatically reduce consumption of fossil fuel reserves. Governments and regulators need to find more backbone to implement policies that “require firms to disclose the amount of carbon in their fuel reserves… At the moment neither public policies nor markets reflect the risks of a warmer world.”
